    GRUMETS coordinates the Master's Degree in Remote Sensing and GIS, the one with longest tradition in Catalonia (1992), and the first Official in Science and Technology of Geographic Information. Their students are working in companies of the sector, administrations (Town Councils, Generalitat, Provincial Councils, etc.), Research Centers and Universities, the European Space Agency, the European Commission, etc.

    Software Development

    It is worth mentioning scientific software development, mainly through the MiraMon project. MiraMon currently has more than 200,000 users in 42 countries and Internet client and server versions available as well as the classical versions of the MiraMon Universal Map Reader and the Professional Desktop (versions of 32 and 64 bits, both parallelized for maximum speed), with more than 29 years experience (the latter with more than 120 module applications, including basic functionality, advanced and high-level GIS and remote sensing and with one of the main slogans of GRUMETS: all projects must be applied to show that actually work with real data). Also noteworthy is the Universal Geospatial Metadata Manager, GeM +.
